Everything on this site is general travel information, shared in good faith and checked as carefully as I can. It is not professional advice on safety, surfing, health, transport or law.
Prices, timetables, opening hours and sea conditions change, sometimes from one day to the next. Always confirm with the operator, the business or the official source before you rely on a detail, and use your own judgement.
Surf and sea safety
The Atlantic coast around Ericeira can be powerful and dangerous. Surf spot descriptions and levels are guidance, not a guarantee of what you will find on the day. Respect lifeguard flags and IPMA sea warnings, surf within your ability and, if you are learning, do it with a licensed surf school.
You enter the water at your own risk. Ericeira Travel accepts no liability for accidents, injuries or losses connected with activities described on the site.
Tools and calculators
The trip cost calculator, the beach finder and the live conditions panel give estimates based on public data and simple assumptions. They are there to help you plan, not to replace a quote, a forecast or an official warning.
Advertising and independence
The site is free and funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly separate from the editorial content, and no business pays to be mentioned or recommended. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads and offers.

The guide links to external sites, such as transport operators, webcams, forecast services and official tourism pages. I do not control them and I am not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
